Does it also have a lot of Eastern proverbs, or are the sayings mostly from Western countries?
Hi Sally,
The collection has proverbs from many Asian countries, including China, Japan, Tibet, South Korea, Taiwan, and more. So it really does have a good balance of Western and Eastern philosophies.
Thanks! That sounds great 🙂
Nice. I always like to read one idiom or saying in the morning each day, so this would keep me going for a while 🙂
Hi Vikram,
A lot of people use proverbs and idioms like that! If you read one a day, this collection should last you for about 15 years, so yeah – definitely quite a while!
I love seeing how different cultures think about things so differently. It can be surprising sometimes.
Hi Michelle,
Yeah, it’s always interesting to get a cultural perspective on a country or people through their language. And as different as they often are, it’s also surprising how similar a lot of the ideas can be.
Absolutely love these. I’ve taken a lot of them to heart. Thank for sharing.
Hi Ash,
Glad to hear it! It’s a pleasure for us!
